Frank Caliendo Live in Palm Springs

You may have seen comedian Frank Caliendo on TV commercials as well as shows like “MADtv,” “FOX NFL Sunday,” and, of course, “Frank TV.”  His impressions include celebrities like John Madden, Charles Barkley, Donald Trump, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, former President George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Andy Rooney, Rosie O’Donnell, Jay Leno, Dr. Phil McGraw, Jack Nicholson, Michael Richards, and Robin Williams. 

Caliendo’s own Emmy award winning show, “Frank TV,” premiered in late 2007 and was filmed in front of a live studio audience.  The show was a great way for Frank to display his awesome talents as a celebrity impressionist with sketches that never starred original or unknown characters but rather famous people that Frank would flawlessly impersonate.  The talented impressionist was even known to play several characters in one sketch as seen in the show’s pilot episode where he played the entire cast of Seinfeld.

“Frank TV” occasionally played host to some of Frank’s old “MADtv” costars like Mo Collins and Aries Spears.  Though “Frank TV” only ran for 16 episodes, Caliendo’s fans will miss their weekly dose of fake celebrity mayhem.

Aside from sketch comedy, Frank has also performed stand-up on many shows including “The Late Show,” “The Late Late Show,” “Late Night” (basically, if it has the word “late” in it, he’s probably done it), “The View,” and “Premium Blend.”  And, not to be left out of any medium, Frank has also done countless radio shows including Rise Guys, Bubba the Love Sponge, and The Howard Stern Show.
