Weather in Palm Springs -Enjoying the Warm Sun
While most of the country is suffering from June gloom and the threat of thunderstorms, rain, and, in some areas, tornadoes, Palm Springs is enjoying the warm sun. Put away your umbrellas and come play outdoors.
Did you know Palm Springs has 350 days of sunshine every year? No wonder everyone looks so healthy and happy! Enjoy one of those sunny days at one of Palm Springs’ many parks. Ruth Hardy Park, for example, not only offers you a beautiful park setting but also has public tennis courts with free lessons! And if that park is too busy, there’s Sunrise Park a few miles away and Demuth Park and Francis Stevens Park as well. So, go! Have a picnic, throw a ball around, play some tennis, just as long as you’re enjoying the weather, you’ll be glad you visited.
You may also want to check out Palm Canyon drive where you can walk from store to store to explore the unique boutiques and shops or go gallery to gallery and enjoy art and sculptures. There’s no way that a day of sun, art, and shopping could be bad.
If you’re visiting Palm Springs, make sure to check out Lake La Quinta Inn, a great way to enjoy the indoors as well.
